Burglary

STATUS: OPEN
The Huntsville Police Department is asking help from the public in identifying a male suspect who has been breaking into apartments and watching the tenants sleep. The suspect is described as having a medium complexion, 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall with a tribal tattoo on his left arm from the elbow to his shoulder to chest area. The first break in occurred on April 9th at an apartment at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Sycamore Avenue. The victim woke up a night with the suspect standing on a chair near the bed. The second burglary was on May 6th at a residence in the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard. The victim woke up finding the suspect in boxer shorts standing by the bed. The third burglary happened on May 11th when the victims were returning to their apartment in the 2100 block of Sycamore Avenue. The suspect walked out of their bedroom and lout the door. Police found no signs of forced entry at any of the residences.

The Huntsville Police Department is investigating the theft of the above motorcycle from the 2000 block of 19th Street in the early morning hours of 12-13-16. The motorcycle is a 2009 Yamaha R-6 with the license number of 589XJV.

The Huntsville Police Department in investigating the theft of a white 2000 Dodge 3500 Dually with Texas license CZP8118. The pickup was stolen from the Rolling Brook Apartments in the early morning hours of 12-13-16 in the 600 block of Hickory. A photo of the truck is shown below.

The above photo of the 2003 Ford F250 truck license number GPP0129 was stolen on 12-13-16 from The Connection in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows in the early morning hours. It was recovered in Walker County. The white cargo trailer, 5` X 8` was stolen from the 2700 block of Chimney Rock during the same time period. The above truck and trailer were used the same date in the theft of a motorcycle. The motorcycle and trailer have not been recovered at the time of this post.Crime Stoppers is assisting the Huntsville Police Department in trying to locate the stolen property and identify the suspects.

A blue color 2007 Yamaha motorcycle with license number 310D3L was stolen from the Cornerstone Apartments in the 2200 Block of Bobby K Marks on 12-11-16 in the early morning hours. The Huntsville police department is attempting to identify the suspect(s) and locate the motorcycle in this case.A photo of the motorcycle is attached.

The Huntsville Police Department is investigating the theft of a 2006 Ford F-350 pickup stolen on 12-10-16 in the early morning hours from the 2400 block of Sycamore Avenue. The license number of the blue Ford truck is CJ1628. The below is a photo of the truck.

The above blue 2004 Dodge 2500 pickup license number DK62060 was stolen on 12-4-16 during the early morning hours in the 1300 block of Smither Drive (the Republic Apartments). The Huntsville Police Department is trying to locate the vehicle and identify the suspect(s) involved in the theft.

The Walker County Sheriff Department is working a burglary of the New Waverly High School which happened On September 3rd. This was the second time the school has been broken into this year. Three suspects vandalized and stole property from the school. A video of the suspects is available on the New Waverly ISD Facebook page. This burglary is similar to the first burglary of all the New Waverly School campuses on February 18th and 19th. The schools were broken into again where property was stolen and damaged done to the elementary, junior high, and high school. The public is being asked to help in the identification of theses suspects.

On Saturday, March 19, 2016, two unknown suspect(s) broke into offices located at 1 Financial Plaza during the afternoon hours. The suspects stole cash, postage stamps, and foreign coins. See the attached photo of the two suspects. Crime Stoppers is trying to help the Huntsville Police Department in the identification of the two suspects.

Murphy`s Oil located at 169 IH 45 South was broken into on Monday, March 14, 2016 after 2 am. Cigarettes were stolen from the business. A dark colored SUV and two males were seen near the business. See the attached photo of the two suspects and suspect vehicle.
